Busted your input shaft and damper on your Polaris Scrambler or Sportsman 850/1000. Get the upgraded Damper and the Reinforced Gear Input Shaft in one kit! 

If the damper (dual mass flywheel) breaks internally, it no longer has a damper function and causes the input shaft to break as a result!

Professionals can tell if there is a problem by the noise when starting the engine.

**Don't make the mistake of replacing just the input shaft as a cheap fix. The new input shaft will not last long if the internals of the damper are busted (if your shaft broke the internals are busted on the damper) and you will need to tear everything apart again...plus will need to buy another input shaft and damper**

WHAT TO DO?
The new input shaft is 5 mm / 0.2" larger in diameter and can therefore absorb greater energy. The part can only be used in a set with the improved damper.

If you are already inside the transmission it is a good idea to replace all bearings within the transmission. That the upgraded bearing kit can be found here
