JAY PARTS STEM CLAMP SCRAMBLER SPORTSMAN 850 - 1000 - JP0066

Simply ingenious is the combination of JAY PARTS of stable aluminum bearing clamp incl. special bushing made of a highly abrasion-resistant and self-lubricating plastic with a spiral groove. Thus, the grease is optimally distributed over the grease nipple on the entire bearing surface and the penetration of water and dust is prevented.

As an optimization and reinforcement of the bulkhead (aluminum steering head), we have combined the bearing bush with the steel reinforcement (4-fold bolting possible). Thus, it distributes the pressure in case of excessive load (camber) on 5 times the surface and minimizes an expensive consequential damage.

IMPORTANT
If the bearing surface of the steering column is already worn (metal abrasion present), even our system will not bring any improvement. In this case we also recommend a new steering column.
