Pitman Polaris Sportsman 450/570 EPS – JP0097

The Jay Parts Pitman is made of high strength steel and the highlight is the double clamping and the high material quality.

WHAT PROBLEM IS BEING FIXED?
Play in the steering is 80% a worn pitman. The one before 2013 without clamping and from 2014 with clamping. The best way to check is to have someone move the handlebars and use a flashlight to watch the splines closely under the power steering. 1/100" (1mm) clearance between Pitman and toothing is 3/10 - 4/10" (8 - 10mm) at the end of the handlebar!
